Raddrum uses an ancient method of bronze casting; the Lost Wax Method. In the Lost Wax Method, the artist carves a wax model of the final bronze product. Thin wax rods are attached to the wax model and then covered with plaster, thus creating a mold. The wax isĀ  melted away leaving a hollow mold. The molten metal is then poured into the mold and cooled. Once cooled, the plaster is knocked away leaving a beautiful bronze masterpiece.
